In May 2020, the Bitcoin (BTC) block reward will be 6.25 BTC. Previously, it was 12.5 BTC. It’s arguably the most anticipated event for Bitcoin investors and/or speculators worldwide. This BTC halving event inspired me to paint this cubist-inspired oil on canvas, which was originally spurred by my admiration of Picasso’s and Braque’s cubism movement in 1907.

In this oil on canvas painting, I highlighted the skeptical yet determined bull market glaring at Bitcoin, and in the background, the bear market patiently waits to bring down the extremely volatile BTC market.
